It’s another great day to build five houses on stunning Phillip Island!
Our Blockheads are in their second week of the guest bedroom and the day is ready to start as soon as Ricky and Haydn emerge from the bunk beds.

Meanwhile, Paige is already awake and at their place. She has a big shopping day in Melbourne. That means shopping for her house, of course. But it would be silly to go all the way there and not check out the other stores, right?
Having picked up skincare, shoes and sheets, her inspo is flowing. It’s not called retail therapy for nothing!
Kylie finally came out of her hibernation on her and Brad’s bedroom floor and readily agreed to make a baby room (with beds!) as Marty suggested during yesterday’s walkaround.
Hey, at least she still has her black cabinets?
But before they can do anything, they need walls. And Brad found himself in a war for them.
Jesse is first in line for his Truecore steel frames, but he still hasn’t checked off his pre-frames to-do list. On the other hand, Brad is way ahead of schedule and therefore wants to jump the queue.
DAN VS DANI EXCLUSIVE: Dan and Dani gasp at the sight of a ‘horrible’ feature in the winning bathroom as they are baffled by a ‘bizarre detail’ in another
Jesse won’t let him, so Brad and his builder start doing something rather unorthodox…
“We built as many walls as House 1 needed for ours to start being built, then we started making our walls,” he explains.
“We got our walls up before Jesse came down to look for his walls.”
There’s a more heated disagreement at House 2. Courtney and Grant’s builders claim they haven’t been paid a cent yet, and start screaming about it to anyone who will listen, including Foreman Dan and McCafé barista Tina.
Courtney and Grant return from their night out and are displeased to find out they’re the subject of all this gossip – plus they claim they paid yesterday.
Grant is HOT. He is furious that the builders “went behind his back” instead of just coming to him and asking for money.
“You know what? I’m telling him from now on,” he says.
“Don’t come back on Thursday. I don’t need you…thanks for everything, but I don’t have you on site, you’re a king snake.”
Eek! They just fired their builders, House 2 has no backup lore, so now they have another major problem to deal with.
Mimi and Paige are shopping for their kids’ rooms, and each has bed drama. Mimi found the perfect beds, except they’re the wrong color. And Paige found perfect headboards, only they’re decals, not real headboards.
Mimi comes up with a clever solution by changing the color of her rainbow wall to match the green color of the bed. Meanwhile, Paige just needs to take a minute to wallow before she and Jesse head to Ray White for a date.
The next morning, Brad wakes up with a big smile on his face about how good their room is to watch…thanks to some naughty rule-breaking.
House 4 snuck into the plaster after hours last night, a big no-no bloc.
He approaches Foreman Dan and Site Manager Simmo to deal with the music.

“If they got hurt and we come in today, everybody’s off work for a week or whatever,” Dan scolded. “It’s set bloc in danger at the end of the day”.
Dan and Simmo decide that House 4 will have a five hour break. and must redo their site inductions.
There’s still some shopping to do, and the woman (plus Haydn) team up for a trip. Haydn has driving duties, while Kylie, Paige, Courtney and Mimi have the important job of… carpool karaoke.
Ricky laughed that he dodged a bullet by not needing to be in that vehicle, but the jokes he has on him, like at the scene, all the men are dealing with drama.
Brad can’t do anything, Grant is still looking for builders, Kristian put in the wrong insulation and Ricky has even more bathroom waterproofing drama from last week.
Uh oh. Dramas also hit the van.
The bedside tables Paige wanted from The Block Shop are not available because she ordered them too late.
She’s not sure they’ll have a full room this week, but Jesse thinks they’ll be fine.
“I’m so sick to my stomach of hearing endless errors,” she replies.
Jesse travels alone to Melbourne to solve the problems and after a series of failures, finds the items they need.
Eventually, things start to go well for everyone else as well. Brad is reinstated, Kristian’s insulation is repaired, and Grant may have even found a builder!
Although, there is one downside to driving around four singers: Haydn had no chance to plan his room and returned from their 12-hour shopping trip with nothing.
EXCLUSIVE: The teams reveal how far they went to prepare for The Block
As the day draws to a close, Courtney and Grant say they notice their neighbors in House 1 fighting.
“Sometimes it’s healthy to argue, to a certain extent,” says Courtney.
“But sometimes it gets extreme the block,” adds Grant.
Another fight between Jesse and Paige begins to unravel.
Paige says she can’t keep doing this for another two months.
“I don’t feel like I belong here. You make me feel that way, and other people make me feel that way,” she says.
“Giving up is not an option right now,” Jesse tells him.
– Who says? she replies.
Jesse and Paige
Courtney and Grant
Ricky and Haydn
Kylie and Brad
Kristian and Mimi
Now that’s ominous! Tomorrow night, the race to the Room Reveals heats up, Ricky and Haydn’s bathroom nightmares continue, and one of the biggest prizes in Block history is up for grabs. See you there!
